  • What cleaning process do you use?

    Powerful truck mount steam cleaning.

  • How long does it take for the carpet to dry?

3 to 8 hours under normal circumstances. The use of fans will help speed up the dry time even more.

  • Can I walk on the carpet after it has been cleaned?

Yes. Although it helps to avoid heavy traffic until the carpet is completely dry, it is acceptable to walk on the carpet with clean shoes, or stocking feet. We can provide shoe covers upon request.

  • Do you move furniture?

Yes. As instructed, we can move most furniture items, clean under them, and place them back on clean carpet with protection pads or blocks underneath.

  • Can you Scotchguard my carpets and upholstery?

Yes. Upon request, we can apply a protective treatment to most types of carpet and certain types of upholstery. This treatment provides a protective barrier to resist soils, and makes spot cleaning easier.

  • Can you guarantee you will get all the stains out of my carpet?

Although we’d like to say yes…the answer is no. Many factors are involved in whether a particular stain can be removed. A few of these factors are; the nature of the stain, the type of carpet fiber, how long the stain has been there, and what, if anything, was used previously to get the stain out. Our knowledgeable technicians are trained, certified and will take great care to provide the best results possible in removing spots and stains.

  • How often should I get my carpets cleaned?

This answer may vary, depending on whether the carpet gets heavy use, or light use. As a guideline, it is recommended that a carpet be professionally cleaned every 12-18 months, by an IICRC Certified technician. If your carpet has a warranty, check with your manufacturer on their recommendation, as many manufacturers are now requiring cleaning to be done by an IICRC certified technician to keep the warranty intact. Of course, many factors could affect the frequency of cleaning, such as allergies, children, pets, and visitors to name a few.

  • How do I spot clean my own carpets?

You will want to proceed with caution if you attempt to spot clean yourself. Attend to spots and spills immediately and spot clean using a damp white cloth, avoid rubbing vigorously, and always work from the outer edge of the spot to the center.

  • What do I need to do to prepare for carpet cleaning?

It is very helpful if you pick up any small items from the floor, remove them from the room, and vacuum if possible. Decide if you will be cleaning under the furniture or cleaning around it. If you desire to clean under the furniture; remove breakable items and any small pieces of furniture that one person can comfortably carry out of the room. Our technician(s) can assist in moving larger items, and replacing them or you can choose to remove the larger items from the room yourself. Another option is to clean around some or all of the larger furniture. The choice is yours.

  • Will carpet cleaning remove odors?

Our truck mounted system will leave the carpet feeling soft, smelling clean and looking great. If your carpet has an existing odor problem, the cleaning may help remove some of the odor, however, the job may require a few additional steps beyond cleaning. A pre-treatment spray and enzyme application may be necessary to remove stubborn odors. Please discuss any odor concerns with your certified technician prior to cleaning, or call us so we can address your specific concerns.
